Deidre Diaz, originally from New York City, USA, possesses over 13 years of experience in international education. Her diverse roles include Instructional Coach, STEM/Curriculum Coordinator, Head of School, and K-12 School Principal across International Baccalaureate, American, and British curricula. Deidre’s educational journey began after graduating from Cornell University, where she majored in Human Biology, Health, and Society. She then embarked on a career with Teach for America, serving underprivileged students in urban areas. Her passion for education led her to acquire a Master’s in Educational Leadership and various certifications, enabling her to excel in leadership roles in the UAE and the USA. Deidre’s dedication to fostering partnerships within the school community has resulted in significant growth and accolades, including a commendation from the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau. Currently serving as a Founding Principal at Bloom Charter Schools, Deidre continues to impact student success through innovative leadership and collaborative initiatives.
